Tough morning workout only 12 hours after a tough evening workout (9+ miles and 12 hills). This morning, at 5:30 AM SHARP, brought a progressively faster paced run, 7 miles, in Byron. Tom O', Melby, Marv, Bri and myself. I hung in there for 5 miles and then fell apart. These 49 2/3 year-old legs just need more recovery. Anyway, my splits were: 10:00 9:00 8:01 7:32 6:59 7:03 7:11 (OUCH!!) I had to stop and collect myself between the last 2 miles. My legs were SHOT.
I have to dash off to work momentarily, but here are the pix from Monday's Cooking Light (delicious) dinner.
