Super Sunday

What a beautiful weekend for weather! Yesterday was a great day for a run. I wanted to get in a l-o-n-g one and I did! 20.78 It felt great.

I ran 5.25 early, then about 10.25 with the group (mostly with Trevor, actually) and then the rest by myself. Spotted on the last segment: Marilee in her car, someone honked in a silver Astro van, Pete Schommer in his car, Dave VanDerHeyden in his car, Judge Kevin Lund on the run (and farther from home that I've seen him before!). Later on, in a parking ramp downtown, Jim Postier who said he landed on my blog when googling Randy McKeeman for a coloring book update for Mayo Clinic. (Jim is a medical illustrator.)

Yesterday, Dean Ferber donated a one-hour flight for the Trifecta drawing. Whoo hoo!

Yesterday was the LUABC cookie baking extravaganza at Laura's house. We started at 2 and finished at 7 PM. LOTS of cookies were baked and frosted. Todd's Cosmopolitan martinis were very good. Fun was had by all.

Chris Kujath assembled silent auction baskets

Thought for the day: People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.

Well, I'm going to get outside for bit while the weather is still nice. Have a good one!
