What a wonderful, wonderful day. Great crowds, and great fun to be had in Stewartville as usual, and wonderful weather all day long. Kevin does a great job and it's just a fun time down there. A personal thank you to Chris Koch and Rob Mitchell for running with and pacing me on the 5-mile. I'd registered for the 3-mile as well and was trying to hold a little in reserve, and it was great to have some friends to run with me. Thanks guys! And guess what?? They ran down to Stewartville from Bamber Valley School, ran both races and were then off to Afton to run a 50K on Sunday morning (intentionally on tired legs). This is in preparation for Voyager Trail 50-mile at the end of August. Good luck to them tomorrow.
